The symbols of our logo convey the values and aspirations of LATS SEMINARY which is “to nurture and prepare all believers to do their works of ministry, and as they do this, they will enlarge and build up the Body of Christ” (Eph. 4:12 TPT). Also, the symbols will create a memorable brand identity for LATS.

Symbolic Meanings

The BIBLE as the complete Word of God in the Old and New Testament
The CROSS, a symbol of the Christian faith and Christ’s redemptive works
The FLAME represents the Fire of the Holy Spirit and “the love of God that was poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:5).

Based on the history of LATS, which emphasizes empowerment, transformation, and a commitment to sound Biblical doctrine, the following primary colours are used for our logo:

Blue

This highlights the grace of God as well as reminds us to remain loyal to the assignment from our Lord, aligning with the Seminary’s mission to propagate the Gospel and nurture spiritual growth.

Gold

This emphasizes the sovereignty and knowledge of God as paramount and it demands the pursuit of excellence in all that we do. Gold is also used to reflect the Seminary’s emphasis on equipping leaders and empowering individuals to fulfil their ministry callings with excellence.

Purple

As the colour of royalty, this colour is used to uphold our identity as sons and daughters of the Almighty God as we carry on the work of advancing His kingdom here on earth. It also ensures the Seminary’s commitment to upholding Biblical principles, creativity, and innovation, which pave the way for a forward-thinking approach to course creation and ministry training.

White

The white stands for Holiness and Purity reminding us to pursue holiness in all we do (1 Peter 1:15).
